Hook Kids On Fishing-Astor FL

In partnership with Astor Bait & Tackle, Anglers for Conservation is coordinating a Hook Kids on Fishing Program on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 from 9a-11a.

Kids ages 6 to 16, are welcome along with their parents. The first 50 kids registered will receive a free rod and reel. Registration is mandatory by e-mailing Mike Conneen at mike@anglersforconservation.org.
These conservation-minded Hook Kids on Fishing programs teach casting, fishing safety, knot tying, the tackle box, catch and release tactics, fishing habitat and conservation; and are taught by professional guides and knowledgeable anglers. Parents and kids bring your smiles, positive attitudes and patience along with you! Volunteers are needed.
Parent or guardian must accompany attendees.
Additional community sponsors include the Anglers For Conservation, Fish Florida Foundation and Coastal Angler Magazine.
The Hook Kids on Fishing program is a product of Anglers for Conservation (AFC), a non-profit-501-C3, whose mission is to inspire new generations of marine stewards through education, conservation, and community outreach.
Volunteers are needed and donations are greatly appreciated.
