Hook Kids on Fishing is designed for young families with little or no angling experience. This free, hands-on, multi-station program introduces participants to conservation minded fishing with instruction of rod handling, tackle, casting, knot tying and safety.
ATAC is designed for young anglers age 12 to 17 who wish to expand their understanding of conservation-minded fishing and improve their angling experience. Professional guides and seasoned anglers share their knowledge in areas that include advanced knot tying and casting, fly fishing, kayak fishing, fish behaviors, habitats, fisheries management and more.
Veterans and active duty military learn from highly professional fishing guides through workshops designed to educate on tips, techniques, and tactics specific to the local area while discussing marine stewardship and conservation practices.
This program is designed to give local communities the power to reduce the negative impact on local watersheds thereby improving vital fishing habitats. Community volunteers learn and participate in native planting, removing invasive species and controlling run-off.
