The Anglers for Conservation is organized exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes, including for such purposes, the distributions of funds to organizations and, more specifically, to create a new generation of coastal stewards using community based angling education, habitat restoration and applied conservation science. Anglers for Conservation’s mission is to create a new generation of coastal stewards using community-based angling education, habitat restoration and applied conservation science. Through funding from individual donors and grants from foundations and government, the Anglers for Conservation will offer its programs to various segments of the general public in the community. Anglers for Conservation will develop and expand beyond the four primary programs that support the goals of the organization. Among them will be nationally recognized "AFC Certification" programs for all aspects and levels of participation and practice in angling and environmental protection. Currently Anglers for Conservation is expanding our more mature programs, stimulating development of more recently established activities, partnering with allied agencies, organizations and members of the business community, and increased funding for Anglers for Conservation activities through recruitment, community centered events and pursuit of endowments, donations and grants. |
